Step 1

Put some toothpaste on your index finger. Gently start to get your dog accustomed to having your finger working in its mouth. Slide your finger along the teeth and gums. Let your dog lick the paste off your finger. Usuworldnet027y, step 1 takes 1 to 3 days.

Step 2

Repeat the process the next day, first without the oral cleaner and then with the oral cleaner on your finger. Usuworldnet027y, step 2 takes 4 to 14 days.

Step 3

Once you and your dog are comfortable with the finger brush, introduce the toothbrush by letting your dog lick the paste off the brush. Brush one tooth the first day, preferably on the side of the lower jaw, using the Petosan double-headed toothbrush. Use short, gentle, back-and-forth movements across the tooth. Increase the number of teeth brushed each day.
